TFC Internship Roles            

The Toronto Foosball Club is the Premier Foosball Club in Canada, and the only 24/7 Foosball facility in North America.  We opened in January 2022, already have a dedicated member base within the GTA, and are a true destination for many Canadian and International Foosball players.  We are a non-profit organization, and are looking for 2 more motivated team-members to help take us to the next level!  Reach out to us asap if you think this is the right fit for you!

Marketing and Operational roles

Potential Candidates: 

  • students in Sports Marketing programs (or looking to gain experience growing a business)
  • recent graduates in related programs
  • people looking to build skills and gain experience

Role 1: Business Development & Marketing 

Responsibilities:

  • Increase membership
  • Increase revenue
  • Promote awareness 
  • Strategic input

Role Description:

  • Work closely with co-founders and mgmt team for direction
  • Manage social media accounts and promote club
  • Support and execute strategies to attract new members (target corporate, student and other untapped sectors)
  • Support and execute strategies to retain existing members (ensure member happiness)

Requirements:

  • Positive attitude, strong communication skills
  • Interest in learning new things
  • Have initiative, and ability to complete tasks without constant supervision
  • Experience with social media, web-pages
  • Comfortable with technology (Google Sheets, Docs, WordPress)
  • Currently in, or graduated from Post-Secondary institution (College or University)
  • Ability to work a minimum of 8 hours / week.  Most work can be onsite or remote
  • Ideally able to easily travel within Toronto to identify opportunities 


Role 2: Operations and Accounting

  • Operational and event support 
  • Basic bookkeeping and reporting 
  • Membership management 
  • Strategic input 

Responsibilities 

  • Assist with running regular weekly events 
  • Assist with regular maintenance of club (monitor inventories, report problems)
  • Learn and use club systems (GymMaster, WordPress, Google Apps)
  • Technology maintenance (video editing and streaming with Streamlabs, Wzyecam, August, Kasa)
  • Document processes and knowledge
