Our new location:  1377 The Queensway

  • Is there parking at the club?  And air-conditioning?

    Yes, there is free parking available and the club’s new location has GREAT air-conditioning (and very high ceilings).

  • How do I register for events?

    Registration will open in July, and we will update this page with all the details.

  • Where should I stay that’s convenient for the tournament?

  • Will there be food and drinks at the club? What’s the pizza party on Friday about?

    Yes!  The TFC Kitchen will be open serving Banh Mi and other great food.  Friday is a FREE PIZZA PARTY for all players entered in the DYP!

  • How Will Players Be Rated?

    •⁠ ⁠we will use the WFT / IFP ratings as the primary source for players who are in their system
    •⁠ ⁠⁠there will be some exceptions if we believe someone is significantly under-ranked (we will let you know, and you can also check with us as you probably know if you are under-ranked)
    •⁠ ⁠⁠for players NOT ranked in WFT / IFP, we will rate you as accurately as we can with comparable players

    This means that many Canadian players who previously were rated higher in TFC or HOT ratings will be eligible to play events that match their WFT / IFP rating. We believe this is the simplest way to be consistent with the WFT / IFP tournaments that many players attend.
