Summer Championship 2024

Out of Towner?

If you’re coming from out of town then Fly to (YYZ) Toronto Pearson Airportor YTZ Island Airport

From there it’s only a 15-20 minute Uber or Taxi ride to the club (978 The Queensway, Etobicoke)

Local or Driving?

Easy access from the major highways since it’s located close to the 427 and QEW intersection.

The club is also a short bus ride from Islington Subway station (TTC)

There are many nice Air BnBs in the area:

There are also some hotels/motels nearby:

• Deluxe Inn
• Queensway Motel
• Stay Inn Toronto

Anyone is eligible to play Open Events.  Only less experienced players are eligible to play Expert and Rookie events.  Junior events are limited to players 15 and under.

IFP, HoT, AQBB, ITSF and other rankings are considered.

Thank you to everyone who has reserved their spot via email or preregistration form.  We appreciate your patience, and are now ready to accept full registration and payments.

Please register for your events in House of Tournaments:

1. Sign In to https://www.houseoftournaments.com/sports/foosball/organizations/trfc and select the Organization TRFC / Toronto Foosball Club
2. Under Tournaments, select the TFC Summer Championship 2024
3. Click ‘Signup’ and select the events you wish to sign up for and Save Changes (you can also indicate your partners for each doubles event)
4. Under the ‘Fees’ tab, the Total should reflect the events selected and tables fees
5. If this looks correct, etransfer that amount to events@torontofoosballclub.ca (include ‘Summer Championship 2024’ in memo)
   1. If you qualify for free table fees (travelled 200km+, beginner, female or TFC Full unlimited access Member), deduct this amount in the etransfer and add ‘$0 Table Fee’ to the memo
6. Once we receive and confirm the payment amount, we will mark your fees as ‘paid’ in HOT.
7. This process will allow us to calculate balances more effectively, and complete payouts during the event.

Note – if this is the first time creating an account in HOT, after you have created it please email events@torontofoosballclub.ca with your full name and email, and will “connect” your profile. Once this is completed, you’ll be able to complete the other steps.

If you can not use Interac etransfer (likely if you are from outside Canada), please bring cash to the event.

Yes, we will automatically accept all etransfers sent to: events@torontofoosballclub.ca

Cash is only accepted as a last resort, and your spot may not be guaranteed unless you have fully paid 60 minutes before the event is scheduled to start.

Yes!  The TFC Kitchen will be open serving Banh Mi and other great food.  Friday is a FREE PIZZA PARTY for all players entered in the DYP!
