Mairin Scannell has been involved in soccer since she was a toddler, and her experiences have ranged from playing to coaching house league to volunteering abroad at a semi-professional club in Accra, Ghana.
In addition to Scannell’s role as Manager of Operations, she works in the Innovation and Entrepreneurship hub at the University of Guelph and is the instructor of a First Year Seminar where students explore the issues that lead to low grassroot sport participation rates. Prior to working at the University of Guelph, Scannell worked for Maples Leaf Sports and Entertainment as the Manager of Operations for Toronto FC Academy.
Scannell brings her passion for helping youth build positive long-lasting relationships with soccer as well as an entrepreneurial and innovative spirit to Scrosoppi FC.
